There are other Homeseer users of the RLY8 module with the ocelot. Any problem you have with the SECU units will likely not disappear with the RLY8 since the interface with homeseer is still the ocelot.
I run my ocelot/secu16 such that the homeseer interface is via the LAN rather than via a serial port. You are welcome to use this configuration, but you need to be setup to use xAP as a homeseer interface. The xAP environment is free, but it requires installation. -

Ive had two secu16s running with homeseer for a couple of years know, no problems, no false triggers.Maybe a fresh install wii help.
