Timeout getting Vars

I'm new to Ocelot world and brand new to HS.

As can be seen I'm getting repetive Timeout warnings. The Ocelot firmware is V8.31/58 Application V3.08

What do I need to do to correct??

After the original post, i discovered while mouseing around in HS that I had not set-up the Ocelot interface in Options - IO Interface. After completing that, I now getting an additional warning (see log below) "Checksum error reading IO points 0 21623"

Help!

This used to be a problem for some people (thankfully I never had it myself) awhile ago but the problem seemed to have been fixed. Try doing a search on this forum for "timeout" that should get you some hits from back when. From what I can remember one thing to try is switching around the serial ports you have the ovelot connected to. If you're using a usb-serial device try using a "real" serial port.

If you load Cmax and attach to the ocelot, do you get any connection erros?

Thanks for your help. From C-max I receive a comms retry every four minutes or so. But everything seems to be working perfectly. I'm using a serial port (as Com 1) and have tried various handshake and buffer size settings with no effect. I,ve logged a problem but will also continue to search for others experoence.
