Ocelot.log Grows to more than 500 MB Size

Does anyway know how to change the log file
management when using the AD Ocelot Interface
    with HS 1.6.93 ?

My inhouse system runs comfortably on a Win2k
computer with HS always minimized. The AD Ocelot
is selected for the X10 Interface and the IR
    Interface.

Over the past 3-5 months I've noticed a number
of times that the system 'exercises' its disk
drive thoroughly, especially around 5 - 5:30 AM
when the dogs and I get up. Then it seems to
settle down, and is quite usable for email,
    browsing, etc.

The two largest log files which I have to
    manually delete are:
    C:\HomeSeer\Ocelot.log
    C:\HomeSeer\AH.log

This morning, Ocelot.log was over 514 Mb, while
AH.log was only 17 Mb. Both are large, but the
Ocelot file is really pushing the drive.

Any ideas or similar experiences will be greatly
    appreciated.

... to keep their working size small. You should easily be able to adapt them to run your ocelot.log too.

Uncheck 'log comms' under the Interfaces / Ocelot setttings. I have never looked at, nor needed to look at mine. If it is pumping out that much info, it is probably for debugging purposes only.

Mine is checked to log only comm errors, and I don't even see my ocelot log.

Yes, it is for debugging purposes and I do not believe it is turned on by default, but you can turn it off and delete the log file.
