    Names not in sync...

    I just got my OP II reinstalled yesterday and got the plugin to work again, but I have noticed that the Names between the plugin and the OP aren't in sync. Here is an extract of my ini file for an example.

    Button118Name=Unit 453
    Button119Name=Unit 454
    Button120Name=Unit 455
    Button121Name=Unit 456
    Button122Name=Unit 457
    Button123Name=Unit 458
    Button124Name=Unit 459
    Button125Name=Unit 460
    Button126Name=Unit 461
    Button127Name=Unit 462
    Button128Name=Unit 463
    Code1Name=Unit 464
    Code2Name=Unit 465
    Code3Name=Unit 466
    Code4Name=Unit 467
    Code5Name=Unit 468
    Code6Name=Unit 469
    Code7Name=Unit 470
    Code8Name=Unit 471
    Code9Name=Unit 472

    Code45Name=Unit 508
    Code46Name=Unit 509

    Code48Name=Unit 511
    Code49Name=Gone to work **** Note these are button names that I have
    Code50Name=Home Holiday **** set in the OP II but they are under CODE
    Code51Name=Button 3
    Code52Name=Button 4
    Code53Name=Button 5
    Code54Name=Button 6
    Code55Name=Button 7

    Message14Name=Master
    Message15Name=Rich
    Message16Name=Karen **** Note these are CODE names that I set in the
    Message17Name=Tyler **** OP II, but in the ini they saved as Messages

    Message19Name=Chuck
    Message20Name=Code 7
    Message21Name=Code 8
    Message22Name=Code 9

    I found that this is a known problem with the plug in....

      Not to mention that it is a ONE TIME thing - in other words, if you have never done the download of names again, then the names will never change and are likely to have been like this for a while. (Unless you started with a new INI file.)

      The names in the plug-in and the panel are NEVER suppose to be synchronized anyway. Remember, this feature is to get you a REFERENCE to what the zone, unit, etc. was called in the panel, so you can REPLACE the name with a longer one of your choosing - the HAI system can only do between 12 and 15 characters for a name, and this plug-in allows for very long, descriptive names.

      Go ahead and edit the names in the INI file directly to be what you know them to be. (The new names only get read at startup, so restart after editing or shut down before editing.)
      Regards,
