  • Really Dumb question

I have HS 2.1, HAI HSPI, and an OmniPro II. Since I did not see anything in the Help File for the HAI HSPI, I take it it cannot communicate via ethernet, and needs to have a physical serial connection?

Thanks for any help, and a Very Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!

Yes, the only interface to the HAI is via the serial port.

There has been talk of the HAI plug-in supporting Ethernet, but I don't know if it ever will happen. There seems to be some bad feelings between the HAI Plug-in developer and the HAI engineers. Other third-party software, like Charmed Quark, do support the Ethernet interface, so it would seem technically possible.
