Camstat Dry Air Mode

Has anybody tried using the dry air mode with the Camstat?

I'm worried about using it with the compresser and fan going on and off frequently. Wouldn't this but adverse preasure on them? How exactly does it work - how often does it come on and for how long?

If it wouldn't hurt my system then i might give it a try to reduce the humidity in my house.

Anyone have any thoughts?
