    CA8900 zwave Tstat problem

every time I try to add the tstat to my z-troller I get the following error

10/17/2008 12:31:48 AM - ZWave Thermosta - Error in GetSupportedModes: Return was null

I am using the latest plugin, but I cannot adequately add the thermostat.

is this a known bug? anything I can do?

After a few dozen attempts it finally communicates with the tstat, but I get

10/17/2008 8:07:55 AM - ERROR - Cannot get fan status from zstat device 7

and no ability to read and or control fan status?

Isn't the fan mode on this stat a manual button?

everything is a manual button but the plugin reads everything else and tries to read the fan status as well

I would recommend putting in a help desk ticket on this so Rich can comment on this. I know the fan can not be controlled remotely on this remote but I'm not sure about reporting the status.

Make sure you have deleted the zstat.thm file, then restart HS. See if that helps...

Did you ever get this working? These are almost the exact problems that I'm having with my HAI RC80BZ thermostats as well. And, I'm running the latest z-wave thermostat plug-in without the zstat.thm script file.
