Here is a tip for people having the same problem as I was.
I was having problems communicating with the WDTC-20 Thermostat. I kept getting the following error in my log when I tried to set a new setpoint.
Error sending ZWave Command, aborting: D<2>
I found that instead of sending a setpoint command I needed to send 3 separate commands. Shut the unit off, change the setpoint, turn unit to heat.
ZWave Thermostats: Thermostat - Master Bedroom: Set Mode: Off
ZWave Thermostats: Thermostat - Master Bedroom: Set Setpoint: Heat to 68
ZWave Thermostats: Thermostat - Master Bedroom: Set Mode: Heat
This seems to work just fine. Not sure why but thought I would pass it along.
