  • Trane fan state not reported?

I just installed the Trane Z-wave thermostat. It added fine in HS (except for a bunch of exceptions right after adding it, but a restart got things right). I then installed Blade's Thermostat plug-in (which I already love), and noticed that when the fan turned on and off it never showed in the "fan state" in that it always said "idle". I then thought I should check the HS Z-wave thermostat plug-in status, and it also always says "idle" even if the fan is running.

The ZWave thermostat comparison chart (http://store.homeseer.com/store/Home...on-W22C67.aspx) states that this thermostat does support remote monitor and control, so I would have thought I could see something other than idle. I do seem to be able to turn the fan on or off via HS. I just can't see the status.

    Am I missing something?

Not at the moment, you are not missing something.

This is being investigated by Blade and Rich (with HS) to track down the issues in the API. I also have a trane stat and the fan is not currently working.

It was but, something changed in HS where it no longer seems to work right.
