But then you've confirmed your number to them.
Not really if you change your outbound calling CID via an outbound call with W2C box. (really NOT legal though but the telemarketers are starting to do this).

Thanks again Wadenut / Pete. Ater allowing HS to reinit the modem by changing something in the settings file it will work exactly one time. Then I can look at the log & see that it supposedly reset the modem OK, but it only works once. The next call will not show CID info @ all.
Too much time on this so am going to put it away .

I have changed a lot of settings about / deleted/recreated my HSPhone.ini and don't remember all of the things I did.

Restoring my yesterday's Acronis image so I don't have to worry that I left something awry.

        That's really odd.
        I wonder... W2C drivers?
Real courage is not securing your Wi-Fi network.

          Wow

The "Drivers Information" is really verbose! I havent done any driver install since 1/15/2012 when I began using the W2C.
Can't say that I've had any issues with it. Until now that is - cannot make it hangup properly.

Begining to think about using the Snevl script.

I use the SnevlCID script and it works fine. Do my stuff on the side.

I did have an issue with the legacy included with HSPhone W2C drivers and my MS Updates. The older W2C drivers that leave a status icon up were actually preventing the MS Updates; hanging during the updates. The new drivers do not utilize the same DLLs and do not have the status icon. I also never touched the firmware in my W2C box as it worked just fine. There is also an additional diagnostic testing W2C program that I installed that lets you get really granular with the W2C stuff.

I know I worked a lot on this but it was years ago.
Actually, I found that I had to check "Answer this caller after number of rings = 1" to get it to work. Zero wouldn't work for me after some update version of Homeseer. (I swear it worked before that.)
