    Weather not working.

I have tried just about everything I have read and do not seem able to get the weather working. It used to work before the plugin changes.

    I have done the following.

    HSTouch server 1.0.0.58
    Designer 1.0.0.72

I have requested and entered the worldweatheronline api into HS and restarted days ago.
I have verified my longitude and latitude are set correctly.

I have created a new project that I dragged the new weather page onto a new screen.

The new project and weather page just do not display the weather.

What have I missed, how do I get the weather page working ?

Why oh why didn't I just leave things alone, they had been working.

Is not working referring to 'no data' or 'wrong data'?

You mentioned latitude and longitude. I think HST projects actually goes by zip code that is set up in the individual project's default. If you open your project in Notepad you can manually replace your zip code into the values the are currently 03110.

I have the zip code set, I get no data.

It used to work fine until changes to the HSTouch weather had been made in one of the recent version.

Try my XML and see if you get my weather. Attached.

Bill thanks, but I think I may have gotten it working.

Out of frustration I changed my latitude and longitude to something completely different. Rebooted and the weather showed up.. ????

Changed it back to my lat and lon and it appears to be working now.

The only thing I have noticed so far is if I put the longitude as a positive value in homeseer, the hstouch weather page shows it as a negative value.

The reverse is true if I put a negative longitude value in homeseer the hstouch weather page shows positive.

I guess I will just wait and see how it goes.

          Thanks

Whilw we are talking about the weather. How to specify a location outside the USA since the HSTouch APPs takes zipcodes?

              Hi Elo

The latest version of HSTouch do not use the zipcode anymore, they use longitude and latitude.

              See http://board.homeseer.com/showthread...ht=weather+api
