    buttons are very slow - Solved!

    I am using 1.0.0.57 windows client and having the problem that the buttons that will show an other screen on top of the current screen are reacting very slow. It can take minutes before the new screen shows up. Image pressed will stay active long after releasing the button.
    Sometimes restarting the client will speed things up, but screens never show 'in an instant'

    Also from the start of using HSTouch I have a clock displaying with
    'Our Happy Home @ [$TIME=HH:mm:ss]'
    But the longer the client is running, the more the time gets behind the real time. After a day it can be behind for several hours.

    Any clues?

    It appears your client can't handle running HSTouch because if the cpu is pegged the time will lag.

      I have a new PC now running HSTouch, but the buttons that will show an other screen on top of the current screen are still very slow.
      When I use version 1.0.0.38, it goes MUCH faster. Seems that somewhere between the versions sometng started going wrong.
      I know my HSTouch configuration has a lot of things to show, but is there any max on configuring RSS on the homescreen and buttons that start an other screen on top of the current screen?
      When I use a simple configuration like the Android demo screen I have no problems.

        I don't know whats different between .38 and .57 to be truthful, i'm having issues with [$SCRIPT tags, they can or appear to be able to eat memory and increase CPU use so my questions to you are;

        1) Do you use any?
        2) If so, how many, what are they and are you doing any maths processing (division etc)

          I am also on .57 and have been trying to create screens for an Android Galaxy Tab and have several issues including slow to no response on buttons and status updates

          I am in the process of trying to remove most of my stuff so I can figure out what is slowing it down.

            I don't use any scripts in hstouch, only a lot of rss feeds to show the weather. I have the status of a hearth beat sensor that is updated by my Ocelot and that is changing every 1 to 2 seconds. But selecting an other screen is giving problems. It can take a few minutes to show up.(or not at all) When I look at my CPU, it is running at 1 or 2%. Looks like HSTouch is waiting for something that takes along time.

              After a lot of testing I found my problem. Behind a image was a image of my IPCamera, updating at 15 frames a second. After deleting HSTouch is back to normal operation!
