  • Has anyone tried the Royallo Z-Wave Pulse Counter?

Any idea if Homeseer would support this device?

This would be very handy! TIA

        I think it _might_.

        http://board.homeseer.com/showthread...highlight=mimo

This thread is from a Beta test from last year; the FortrezZ MIMO product being tested included a pulse counter (< 16Hz). If HS supported the counter, presumably they implemented the necessary Z-Wave classes.

The end of thread seems to indicate the product never left Beta.

I don't actually know if there is a procedure to formally ask HS if a device is supported/will work. I did try searching for the Z-Wave class names referenced in the Royallo documention, but nothing turned up (I'm not sure any of the Z-Wave class names are published on HS).

Not sure if there has been any updates... Has any one implemented any of these? Or will I be the first?

I tried to contact Royallo last year, never got a response.

Do you actually have one of the devices in hand?

If it actually exists and works, I could get rid of my 1-Wire, the only thing left is a Hobby-Board dual counter.

You can add them to the card so they must be available. I'll have to ask Rich and crew if they have ever worked with this hardware.

                Rupp,

I assume you are referring to the Royallo cart?

Been down that road with motorcycle parts, just one click away from infinite backorder :-( .

When they didn't respond to my email last year, I assumed they were out of business.

Good point. I asked Mark about this device an he too contacted them and never received a reply so it may be ghostware at this point but the concept is a great one.

Yea, I saw other posts on these on other forums so hopefully they exist and are available.
