I have no idea what was going on when I left that reply. I think it was about bed time. I meant to say " I did over a month ago and didn't help me at all."
Then after reading my messed up post, I ready yours that said it was a low priority. Why should that be? We would like to use the program too, even though we are the low life that uses X10 and not Zwave. I am still standing by my first posting I think I ever wrote. "why is a release put out for down loading if it doesn't work 100%". I am not sure on putting out a program and saying its a upgrade and only half of the program works. Every part of a program should be tested and work before its released. That is just my thoughts, but who am I, just the person who paid to have a working program and making it possible for the programmer to get a pay check. Maybe they don't need our money. There is so many new programs coming out, before I invest any more, I am going to look at them. They might appreciate me. This is the only program I have ever got, that they make a big deal out of a update and only half of it will work. My company depends on a program and if that program was sent out and did work completely we would be up creek and so would they. I have seen a time that maybe a small issue will pop up, but its the next day after the release its taken care of, not months. My tenants depends on me and my program to work 100% and the employees are happy also with new features and they work.

CM11A on Zee - installed but no X10 control

Here is my log file. Parts left out for brevity. Seems to me that the wrong codes are being sent to the X10 device? The lights flash on the USB-serial adapter. The CM11A was tested first with Home Automation SW and all worked perfectly. Currently only X10 is installed (no Zwave) on the Zee.

Not sure if this helps debug the issue?

    EDIT:
I was bit by the "new device X10 tab" that only shows up once while building the device. Now that I found this,, I am working.

I wiped out everything and reinstalled and now the x10 tab is there when I need it.

FWIW, HS3 run as services would be a great "option". going to miss this terribly on my server machine. thank you
I am unsure of why they need the X10 Tab? If enter the house code and unit code in one spot, that should be enough. I would think a value could be made in the module set up tab to automatically carry over to the x10 tab. Makes no sense to me on why you have to enter it twice. Not being a programer, I can not give an answer why.

Here to test connected the CM11A module to the HS Zee. Enabled plugin and toggled chime on A1. Didn't work.

Rebooted Zee with CM11A plugged in.

I am currently at HS3 V.54. It did work fine last time I tested it with HS3 V.47.

Not working. It did though with V.47.

I have opened a ticket on this issue. Ticket number is: Bugzilla – Bug 1405

I have validated the above mentioned issue using two HS3 Zee's connected to CM11A's.

I have ruled out any hardware issues relating to USB to serial devices and CM11A's.

Downgraded Zee to V.47 with X-10 plugin V.17 from previous backup.

X-10 / CM11A does work fine with the downgraded versions.

CM11A Not Working in HS 3

    Hello,

I've just installed HS 3 Trial Version.
I'm using a CM11A with USB since 2 years on this computer (Windows 7 32bits).

I've a small program to send X10 orders to CM11A (thru COM9 port), it works perfectly and I cam switch ON/OFF a lite correctly.

    I've installed the X10 plug-in and set it to COM9 and CM11A.
    The plug-in Status is OK

I add a device and set it Address to A8.

When I do ON / OFF, nothing append.

Someone could help me please ?

    Thanks a lot,

    Arnaud
