    Shelly Button 1

    Hi There,

Recently bought a second Shelly Button 1. I've added it to the Shelly app/cloud etc with no problems and all looks good.

AKShelly in homeseer however doesn't seem to be adding it correctly. The button actions are missing.

Whereas if you compare it to my previous button that's been in HS for over a year..

I've tried deleting and re-adding but it doesn't seem to update.

    Running AKShelly 4.0.4.6
    HS4 Standard Edition 4.2.16.0

The icon shows authorisation error. Do you have password set in the app?

And if something doesn't work - please start from HS log - any errors?

Also output from Tools => Help.

The auth error was me playing about to get it working (one of the many times I deleted/re-added) so it can be ignored as I was checking that was not the cause.

There was nothing in the log.. it just seemed when it created the device, it didn't add the controls to the input feature.

I've just deleted it again, and then let it re-create. Only thing in the log is:

It just doesn't seem to be creating the controls or correct status graphics.

If I add the controls and update the status graphics manually, it all works. So it looks like there's an issue with it creating the initial device?

I remember now the issue. The buttons (controls) really shouldn't be there. The device shows only the status of the button, i.e. if you click the control button (i.e. SHORT PUSH) - it doesn't do anything.

The reason why I had to add the controls - because I setup the "Action Urls" in the Shelly Button to notify when event happens. Problem is - the HomeSeer JSON API does have setdevicestatus command, which does change the HS device status, but I don't get notification in the plugin. So I have to use controldevicebyvalue command, but this requires the controls to exist.

I have some suggestion from HST https://github.com/HomeSeer/Plugin-SDK/issues/262 - need to test it.

Ver 4.0.5.3 - Fix Use 'setdevicestatus' for Button1 and DW2 (SetCtrlUrlStatus()); Fix adding device manually; Fix RegisterConfigPages()

It should work now without the controls buttons.

Sorry, another potential issue. Since upgrading to 4.0.5.7 (the beta) I now have Invalid temperatures on all my Shelly Uni's

Started new thread as it's not related to the Button.
