    HS4 Phantom Devices

I installed the Hubitat plugin on a Raspberry Pi 4 and tested it to see if it works (it did). However, now I would like to remove the integration. I disabled (and later deleted) the plugin and then deleted the devices. However, when I restart the system the devices reappear. I haven't programed anything on the system and I don't mind starting anew. I tried the Homeseer recovery tool and tried both option 1 and 2 but the devices still come back. What can I do to permanently remove them? Obviously I can just burn image to the microSD again, but short of doing that what can I do? I'd like to solve this because I anticipate having this problem again even after I have things up and running.

The plugin creates devices based upon what Hubitat reports. HS restores devices on a restart. After you deselect the plugin then delete the HS devices that were created. When HS restarts they should no longer exist if the plugin is not enabled.

That is what I did at first, disable the plugin and then delete the devices. When that didn't work I tried deleting the plugin but still no luck, they get recreated when the unit reboots.

The information needs to exist to be recreated. I believe with HS4 the state is stored in json format as a text file. Something is happening that affects this file. It is likely one with .json suffix and may be in a /data or /config folder. I’m not near my install to look.
