    Error has reappeared

Yesterday I transferred an old Motion Sensor I to a Motion Sensor II using the Replace function in the Insteon Plug-In.

Everything seemed to be fine until today, after updating HS3 to version 3.0.0.478. After re-starting HomeSeer, I got the following in my startup log:

10/5/2018 3:10:36 PM ~!~Insteon~!~Error loading Device 93 from insteon.ini file. It has a duplicate Insteon Address 4D.CA.D9 which is already registered to Device 64

That is the new motion sensor. Device 64 is the old one.

This happened before, should I follow the instructions you gave at that time? I'll find it in here somewhere....something about deleting the newer item, but then I will be left with the old motion sensor in the database?

you can't 'replace' a MS I with a MS II; they are not compatible. You need to delete the old MS and register the MS II as new

If you have any trouble with the new MS II check out the beta thread to make sure you're getting the latest support for the MS II.
