    @Mark,

Will your plugin run without the Insteon PLM? I only have an old Insteon serial PLM here but do not know where it is at. (tupperware container here some place with Insteon stuff).

Pete, the plugin will start and run even if the PLM/Interface isn't available. that said, i'm not sure it will do much; There are insteon actions to enable and disable the interface. you may need to run an event to disable the interface if the plugin is giving you troubles.

Guessing that without the hardware interface will not see much...

BTW running this on Ubuntu 18.04 / HS3 ZEE S2 Edition 3.0.0.534 (Linux) and Mono version 6.4.0.198 on Intel Atom Beelink BT3 Pro with 4Gb of RAM.

        Installed it:

Nov-30 12:22:40 PM Updater Downloading update: Insteon
Nov-30 12:22:40 PM Updater Update hspi_insteon.exe downloaded successfully
Nov-30 12:22:40 PM Updater Installing package Insteon

Nov-30 12:22:41 PM Updater Install/Update of package Insteon was successful.

        Enabled plugin without hardware.

Nov-30 12:25:04 PM Plug-In Interface Insteon is running as a trial, 30 days remaining.

Nov-30 12:25:06 PM Insteon Please visit the plugin configuration page, and enter a port (e.g. COM1) then restart HS.

        Nov-30 12:25:06 PM Plug-In Finished initializing plug-in Insteon

Are you seeing the error while initializing plugin or after the hardware is configured?

I have the tupperware Insteon bin next to the UPB bin and X10 bin. Thinking was only using the serial PLM. Its old now; will this work to test your plugin?

Cannot find the bin. It has multiple PLMs, house full of Insteon switches, repeaters et al that I have not used now in some 10 years. Will have to look some more later on.

              Thank you Mark.

Yeah it's an old one...from the Insteon salad days.

              Thank you Bill,

Went to UPB for all of my in wall switches these days.

BTW Mark, last time I saw this message on the linux HS3 boxes it related to a HS3 talking to Mono issue rather than a Mono issue.

Use code "BF2019" at checkout to get 45% off Insteon PLM's and other devices. Makes a Serial or USB PLM $43.99 instead of $79.99. Some other devices are 50% or 60% off so its a great deal. I think it ends at midnight Sunday.

You asked where I saw this. I joined their mailing list. They send a lot of stuff, but its usually interesting and you always know when the deals are on.
