Ah. So it's a subset of a subset. Cool. What is it used for in HS?

These are questions I probably should have asked years ago...but it's never affected me till now, so I didn't bother.

can you remove the device from the alexa app and then rescan and see if app picks up the new device.

started a topic Alexa - "There is a problem."

Alexa - "There is a problem."

My Alexa will no longer control my "Ashtray Light" ApplianceLinc. She says "Sorry, Ashtray Light isn't responding." In the Alexa app it says "There is a problem." (Good grief, that reminds me of HAL...) Furthermore, my attempts get logged in the HS log thusly:
Mar-03 3:36:27 PM Error Problem serializing data for JSON request: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Mar-03 3:36:27 PM Warning JSON controldevicebyvalue ref 934 not found
Looking at my device list, there is no 934. The ashtray light is DevRef 1117.
1117 First Floor Arizona Room Ashtray Light 19.7B.3A:1 0
Why would she be pinging 934? How do I overcome this? Am I in the right forum? Am I in my right mind?
Working...
