    How clear unregistered addresses?

On Plugin/Insteon/Main Configuration Page, I see this message:

"The following are unregistered Insteon addresses found in the network.
53.CB.05 found in Bedroom M Mini Remote
53.4F.07 found in Den Mini Remote"

Both Mini Remotes work just fine. How do I register or otherwise clear this message?

Click on the device name at the end which looks like a link and then delete the device links that have that ID in them.

        1. Click on the link to the device.
        2. Look for those Insteon addresses in the link table. Most likely they will be listed as Unregistered Device.
        3. Make a note of each offending link #
        4. Click Edit Links below the link table.
        5. Look for the link #s you noted in step 3.
        6. Delete those links.

These are "half-links." Kinda like shaking hands with your imaginary friend.

Thanks all, that worked after I remembered to Put the device into Linking Mode before attempting to program it.

Darn it, I was auditioning for a job as a documentation writer for HomeSeer, and that should have been step 5A!
