House fan connected to SwitchLinc Relay Timer keeps going on by itself.

I have had this switch in place for a long time. Suddenly the fan keeps going on by itself. It has not yet gone off by itself but that might be because we shut it off quickly as it is cold outside and the fan is very noisy.

I have turned the logging up to detailed and I can see lots of messages going to the fan including off and on commands but I have NO idea what is sending those commands. I have no events or scripts using that device. I am at a total loss.

This is a recent cut from the log filtered for the word fan. The fan turned on by itself at 7:20 then i manually turned it off at 7:20:54 by voice command over Alexa. Is there anyway to find out what the source of these commands are?

    few thoughts
    1. the fan switch got linked to another device and is being control but that device. reread the links in the switch and see if there is any unusual links.
    2. check all your events actions; maybe even shutdown hs and see if the problem persists.
    3. the switch is going bad; try a factory reset on it and reprogram it via the plugin. do not delete it from the plugin.

Thanks Mark. Really strange it just stopped around 10:30pm last night. Fan not turning on AND no weird messages in the log. Can't for the life of me think of what changed at that time.

Can a failing switch really cause this? Is there a good way to know if that is happening?

After re-reading the links in the switch this is what I get. These are pretty standard to my knowledge right?
Link #3 Switch/Load has local control reporting to HomeSeer
Link #1 Switch/Load is controlled by HomeSeer using RF PLM Group #0 (Tap-Add Link) - On Level : On
Link #2 Switch/Load is controlled by HomeSeer using RF PLM Group #254 (HomeSeer All Devices Group) - On Level : On

the initial log entries would indicate the device is being controlled from an HS event

Found it. There is a voice command event that is triggering somehow without the voice command. Thank you Mark
