Insteon Device controlled with Alexa status not updating in HS4

Attached is the detail log controlling one device with the alexa and the Insteon devices not updating the status in HS4.the light does turn on and off.
I made a event polling insteon every 5 minutes and then the states get updated in HS4.can the plugin pole status on its own?

thanks for posting. the plugin should be updating the device status regardless of voice control or UI control. Not sure what's going on. this definitely works in HS3; just tested.

I see the following in my log when i turn a switch on via voice. the log entry in red is the plugin updating the status.

Sep-28 3:13:01 PM Insteon Setting status and value for device 33.96.EE:1. Old status:0 Old Value:0, New Status:2 New Value:100
    Sep-28 3:13:01 PM Insteon Received a Direct ACK from Office Lights (33.96.EE): 33 96 EE 30 6B D8 2B 11 FF
    Sep-28 3:13:01 PM Insteon Received STX 0x50 (Raw Insteon Rec):33 96 EE 30 6B D8 2B 11 FF
    Sep-28 3:13:01 PM Insteon ..Got RF PLM Response 02 62 33 96 EE 0F 11 FF 06
    Sep-28 3:13:01 PM Insteon Sending command 02 62 33 96 EE 0F 11 FF to RF PLM, (Expecting 0 bytes extra back) Pre-Payload ACK:False, NAK is ok:False
    Sep-28 3:13:01 PM Insteon CAPIControl: Label=On, Value=100, ControlType=Button

So i will have to investigate in HS4.

in the meantime, you can set the polling interval within the plugin for each device. the plugin will automatically poll these devices for status.

Hi Mark.I was wondering if you had a chance to run your plugin on HS4 and test my ALEXA problem.I've set a 1 minute pole per device and that's a OK workaround for now but it would be great to get a instant status update.

I realized i can't reassign my existing myhs account to HS4 otherwise it will break my HS3 setup. So i have an email into HST on the subject.

          Can you test the following
          1. perform a voice control via alexa
          2. refresh the device management page to see if the status changes

Hi Mark. If I refresh the Homeseer device home screen after giving an Alexa command it does not refresh the status of the device

Wait a minute... Does this mean I can't flip-flop between HS3 and HS4 just by shutting one down and launching the other? That would suck!

I have an issue that I think is the same. I am running HS4. I have a Device (Ecobee Main Current Program) that can have one of three values
Home. Sleep. Away. From the Devices page in HS4, if I click one of the buttons to change the device, the Status does NOT change. The value and Status Graphic do change.
This was working fine and then just stopped. Not sure if this is related to the Ecobee plugin or is an HS4 issue. I have not noticed this with any other devices. Click image for larger version

                    Hi Mark
I've given ALEXA a command to turn Living room lights on and then off.Insteon ID is 50.67.AC.I can't find any entry in the detailed log.
                    I've attached the log file

You don't have Alexa connected directly to the hub, do you?

Alexa is on the Wi-Fi network and the Insteon hub is connected with a ethernet cable. Alexa is executing the light commands it just doesn’t show the status change on Homeseer. It’s not just Alexa that’s not registering on Homeseer.timed events from other applications don’t show up either. Even internally triggered Homeseer for events don’t report properly. Such as when door opens turn on Insteon lights. It does turn on the lights but the status feedback is not showing up on Homeseer

I thought Alexa might be talking directly to the hub with the Insteon skill instead of the HomeSeer skill, but maybe that's not the case
