Hello, not sure if this is the right place, but I'm using HS4 and the plugin to add/control a light with button A. It's connected and controlling every other button(correctly) except A which is the power to the light. The home screen says it's controlling A, but it really controls B. I attached a screenshot. Even the button labels on the top of the card seem to be oddly labelled like it's omitting "B", yet the main control in the card is labelled A, but actually controls B. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.

sounds the plugin thinks the kpl is in 6 btn mode but the physical kpl is setup for 8 btns
can you post a pic of the faceplate of the kpl
also, find the [device x] section in the config\insteon.ini and post that as well.Mark

the config pages the faceplate.
can you do a manual factory reset on the switch, and the use the 'reprogram device' routine from the plugin. see the device pageMark

assuming the A button is controlling the load, it uses a different command. the load goes on/off and the A button followings.
can you enabled detailed logging, then from the HS UI, control the B btn and then turn On the device/load. post the log snippet of the those transactions. the two commands sent will look differentMark

I did a test on my end. regarding controlling the btn A/Load, i experienced the same result if the default on level for the kpl isn't set correctly.
please set a default on level from the plugin device page, and retest.
I also noticed the B btn is missing from grid view; i will report this to HST

Update. Just installed 4.1.10.0. The buttons and labels on top of the grid card are now correct as they are all displayed/lined up sequentially. However, within the grid card, even though it says it's controlling A/Load...it's still controlling B. Even when you mouse over the icon within the grid card it says B.
So it's halfway fixed.
