    Yes, and still not working.

No, there are no scripts or plugins that I am using.

Steve, if this KPL is the only problem child (ie others are working just fine). then it must be something in the hs setup. I just don't have any other suggestions.

does the icon/image change when you control the device from the hs status page?

        Mark:

Here is the status being shown when I turn on the switch at the switch: Notice that it shows off in the status area. Really strange.

No, that is what I have been trying to tell you. Nothing will update for that button, by either pressing the button or going to the status page. On the right side, the status side (time) will change when the button is clicked, but not the left side (icon) that always stays on off. I have tried to execute an immediate script such as the following:

            &hs.setdevicestring "\31",""

that doesn't work. If I try this:

&hs.setdevicestring "\31","On" that will change the icon to on, but when I turn the switch to off, the icon will be show On. Don't know what to do other than create an event to update the button when turned on, which I know will work.

            Thanks,
            Steve

Yes, they seem to be working fine. What did you think you noticed?

I'm with you on the issue related to \31. What about a completely different 6btn KPL? are you having the same issue there?

                    #24
Hey Mark I think you got something. My other 2 6 button Keypadlincs do not respond to the Top button being pressed in the log either. The time status works but not the icon status. I think you found the bug!

I will try my eight button Keypadlincs and let you know shortly.

                    Thanks,
                    Steve

                      Update:

The 8 button keypadlincs update fine. It is only the 6 button and only the top button that don't update. Hope you can find a solution!

                      Thanks,
                      Steve
