    Global initialization previously failed. Not trying again

    Today all of our insteon devices stopped working. Homeseer was still working, but looking at the Interfaces tab I noticed for Insteon 'Error Initialize...' So I ran a log it here is what it shows for today.

    What should I try to correct this?

      Restart PC, Enable/Disabled the Interface; but nothing seems to work.
      Even tried using USB to Serial cable on an different port, but no luck.

        try unplugging and disconnecting the plm from usb then wait 1 min and reconnect and try again. stick with your original working setup; ie remove the usb to serial cable.

        if this doesn't work, perform a factory reset (see manual) on the plm and then restart hs, then use the Update Interface Database function on the plugin config page to reprogram the PLM.

          Issue Solved!

          MS updater ran last night and did a reboot, that was ok. Problem was at one point I had HS running a Service... When it restarted both the service and the program started. Killed the service and UNINSTALLED, and everything start working.
