problem initializing 1.9.2.1 on com port

My insteon devices and plug-in have been working fine (the plugin that came with my pro-100 was version 1.1.52.1 ) but I decided to upgrade to the new beta 1.9.2.1.

    I am using HS2pro on a pro-100 with a 2413S on com2

I copied the two dlls from the 1.9.2.1 zip file to my HS directory

I have dis-enabled the insteon interface and re-enabled it on com2

    1. I am getting the following error:

6/29/2013 6:59:52 AM - Error - Initializing interface: Insteon->Please visit the plugin configuration page, and enter a port (e.g. COM1) then restart iHS.

On the insteon configuration tab I see the following:

** You do not have the I/O interface enabled in HomeSeer ** Insteon functions are only available when the I/O interface is enabled.

** Unable to communicate with the Insteon powerline interface *** Please make sure the interface is configured correctly and restart the plug-in.

    The error file begins with:

    2. I also seem to have lost my license that came with the HS2PRO so I copied the lf file to my config directory and now have an unregistered version. What do I do about that? How do I get registration codes for the beta etc...

    3. I have gone back to the 1.1.52.1 plug-in and everything is working fine and it is saying registered.

    4. I wonder if I even need the more advanced plug-in, currently I am using insteon to control 10 light switches. Most of my house is being controlled with UPB and z-wave and various internet devices...

    Thanks for your help...

if you want to try the newer version

add the following line to the insteon.ini [config] section
    InterfacePort=COMx

where x is your specific value

backup your current insteon.lf file as
you will need to put the new insteon.lf files that comes with the later version in your config folder

    hope this helps
