HS3: Jquery and plug-in sliders on touch devices

    Hi Mark,

I often use an iPad to remotely Web connect to HS3 and control my Insteon devices. Unfortunately, the sliders don't work (for me anyways) on iDevices. Yes, you can tap left or right of the slider button, but this is no easy task for fat fingers and most of all is imprecise.

I've searched around and this may be a Jquery issue.

If this is the case, there's a solution at

    http://touchpunch.furf.com/

Not trying to push a specific solution. I'm not convinced this is under your control, but I thought I'd start with your feedback first.

    Thoughts?

As for HS Touch, no, still no update.

When I mention using the iPad in my previous post, I'm referring to a browser based access, Safari, not HS Touch.

So, does your plug-in make calls directly to the Jquery library, or does HS provide an interface ot the plug-in and keeps the Jquery calls internal to itself?

I tried Chrome on the iPad with the same results. Mozilla FF is unavailable in the App Store, even if Mozilla support says it is.

I'll poke HS on this then. Thanks.

EDIT: I've opened a Bugzilla case on this.
