    Running HS2 and HS3

Weird question. I have 2 PLM's, one 2412s and one 2413s. Can I run HS2 on one PLM (the 2412S) and the other on HS3 (2413S). Is this possible or is it going to screw up the links from the devices by having 2 different PLM's?

The reason I am asking is I don't want to disconnect one and put it on the other version of Homeseer. I am testing HS3 right now and before I do something I wanted to hear your opinion first.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hey Steve,

Not weird at all. I do this regularly between my development environment and production environment when i link prod devices to my dev PLM.

In order to make this work, you will need to the use 'program device for homeseer' function on each device you want to control via hs3. this will add the necessary links to the hs3 plm and the device. so the device will contain links for both PLMs. So you will see both sets of links in both environments. just don't delete any links in either case unless you are sure otherwise you will break something.

    hope this helps

So when it says unregistered links because it is using the other PLM, then I should just leave it alone, and it won't affect any transmission communication?

      Thanks again,
      Steve
