PLM X10 CONTROL

Can Insteon PLM be used as primary X10 controler for Homeseer if yes is there any config necessary.

with hs3, you need to enable the x10 option on the plugin config page, and then restart hs

I followed your procedure for x10 but it didn't work. when I try to turn on an x10 it will not take the command.

are you seeing x10 msgs being transmitted when you have detailed logging enabled?

please post your startup log and a log snippet of an x10 device being controlled from the dev mgmt page

No x10 messages in log . In device management a device will not react. If I tap a command (on or Off) it does not react. Attached is startup log

looks like you are using the hub not a plm. some are reporting that x10 doesn't work with the hub.

please enable detailed logging on the plugin config page and attempt an x10 control, and check the log again

I don't own a HUB I only have a PLM. I attached another log file as you instructed.

the startup log looks good.

please verify the following on any x10 hs device you created:

Interface = Insteon
Device Type (String) = Insteon X10

these are found on the Advanced tab

MARK, I added the insteon x10 in the string but I could not chance the interface . It says X10 and I can't change it.

I now understand the problem. X10 is different in HS3. x10 devices are now specific to a plugin. Since your existing devices were created with a different plugin, i can't control them.

lets try the following:

run the "Update X10 Devices" function on my plugin config page so the plugin will take ownership of your x10 devices.

if this doesn't help, you will need to recreate your x10 devices (A1, A2, B1, etc) via the Insteon X10 tab on the Add Device page

I tried the update procedure didn't work. I did re-entered a device as insteon and it worked. I don't have that many x10 (14) it shouldn't take long
