KeyPadLinc not recognized

Trying to add a KeyPadLinc device. This device has been in service for a couple of years. When I try to add it to the Insteon Plug-In, either by number or by Tap-Add, I get:

Tap-add of KeypadLinc V2 Dimmer failed: The device properties could not be read. Communication failure. The device was not added.

The KPL's programming seems to be intact; it controls the devices it was programmed for. I have tried moving it (it's in an enclosure) closer to the PLM, to no avail.

Please advise.

can you post a detailed log snippet of the registration transaction

what version of the plugin are you running?

This was successful...but very slow. Process took about 10 minutes.

if it was slow then there were probably a lot of retries, or a lot of links in the kpl. either way, glad the update worked
