When it works it should not create a new light. I have done this with multiple lights. But I did have trouble with a couple of the lights and ended up with new devices.

Agreed. I only suggested it because it was a device that was not controllable therefore it should be OK to delete it.

        Thanks @cowinger and @bdickhaus

Yes, it should not create a new light. Yes i know i can delete the previous light, but i'll have to change my events and hstouch project, for every light i try to move . cowinger, i must have not explain correctly, that device was working before with my hue bridge, when i made the reset it stop to work. Supposedly it should be moving to deconz.

cowinger, thanks for explain me how to add the parameter. I never knew how to do it. I was thinking that deconz should start after hs3, because when i start deconz before i have several problems with hs3 mostly with z-wave, i have my z-wave usb on hs3 machine to.
But now i think, that if i add the parameter it should work fine. Thanks

Do you know why i can't touchlink the livingwhites (LWL001) with conbee?

        Nuno

Edit: i have change to c:\Users\....\AppData\deCONZ\bin\deCONZ.exe --http-port=8090, but now the deconz app don't start and ask me "How do you want to open this file?"

          nunoary,

On your C:\ drive you have a directory called Users. Double click that and it will show some sub-directories. One of those sub-directories will lead you to the deCONZ directory where the deCONZ exe file is located.

In my case it is C:\Users\Larry\AppData\deCONZ\bin\deCONZ.exe --http-port=93

So in my case the "Larry" sub-directory is what I put in place of the .... Yours will have a different name. I could not fill in that part because I do not know what your particular sub-directory is called.

Also you will use 8090 instead of my 93.

Try it that way and it should work.

@cowinger you made me left in a good way, thanks for that . lol

I understand in the first place, the problem is when i rename "deCONZ.exe" to "deCONZ.exe --http-port=8090", it not open because doesn't recognize the extension and open the windows box asking what program i want use to open it. Hope you understand now.

OK, next you need to check your path. It may be different than what I have. Start at C:\ and follow it back until you reach deCONZ dot exe. Write down this path and give us a look at it. Also give us a screen shot of that window if you can.

The path is good. Try selecting Internet Explorer and say OK.

Using the entire C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\deCONZ\bin\deCONZ.exe --http-port=8090 create a shortcut on your desktop and try opening it that way.

If that does not work try using the port number 93 instead of 8090. I use it and it works.

Just for grins can you take a snapshot showing the complete path for the deCONZ dot exe.

Still nothing. Trust me the path i give it's right, that's not the problem.

Edit: I found another way. As alternative to using --http-port=<port> the default port can be changed in the config.ini.

On Windows it should be located in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\dresden-elektronik\deCONZ\config.ini

Now back on the old stuff, and try to add a ikea light that bought today.

Glad you got it to work. Still don't know why it didn't but there are always other ways of getting to the same result.

As far as Ikea goes I don't have those so I can't be of any help. Sorry I couldn't help with the other also.

                            Nuno,

Having the flu I missed this discussion yesterday. Trying to crawl back here now. The essence of the --http-port was not renaming the file but starting deCONZ with extra parameters.
As for not baing able to add certain bulbs from Philips, I believe that indeed some older version like Living Colors and such are not supported by deCONZ, because the living colors are not Zigbee 3 compatible, so they can only be recognised by Philips.

Ikea should just work oth of the box, eventually after a reset (switching 6 times on and off).

Which version of deCONZ are you running?

                              Hi Wim,

Thanks, and i hope you get better soon.

I'm running V2.05.15 of deconz. Yes, Ikea light and remote was easy.

The living colors A19 (LCT001, 1st generation) it's compatible, i include one in conbee and the plugin creates the light. It shouldn't create a new light, it should change the bridge of my existing light. Now i have to do some work with events and HSTouch . The plugin don't makes the move.

The ones that i can't include are the living whites (LWL001)
                              https://www.amazon.de/Philips-691653.../dp/B005ER7MX2

I don't want, but perhaps i have to stay with the Hue Bridge
