    Frequent Hub disconnect error

This behavior started after updating to 2.0.2.3. I am able to ping to the hub ip address from the HS3 host continuously so there is no interruption of LAN traffic. Here are the log entries:

What channel is the Hue Bridge on? Try changing it to 15. You can do that in the app. Do you have a Conbee or Raspbee? If you do, I have the conbee, I have it on 25.

The ZigBee channel is set to 15 on the Hue bridge. I only have Hue lights and no other ZigBee equipment.

I power cycled the Hue Bridge and I'm still seeing the disconnect messages frequently.

        1. Try going to settings in the app. click on hue bridges. click on the little i. before you do the next step make sure you don't have any scenes, routines, entertainment areas, and other data from other hue apps created because you will lose them. You probably don't but I wanted to warn you just as they do in the app. click clean up. This will leave your rooms, lights and accessories as is so no worries there.
        2. Do you have devices in the hue app?
If that doesn't help it may be a more sophisticated error unrelated to the hub only.

For now the disconnect's have stopped.

Thank you for the advice, but I did not get a change to reset the bridge before the issue stopped. The only thing network related that I did was to update the firmware in my Netgear switches.

Chalk another one up to the network gremlins

I have seen similar in the past here. A reboot of the router solved the issue then. So maybe it was not the update of the router, but the fact it restarted?

But is is always very vague why this needs to happen indeed.
