I spent 3 hours testing before posting this. I controlled everything from Hue Essentials android app and everything works perfectly that way. It was also perfect for months using the Lightify plugin (HS3 native Zigbee plugin). Today I reset everything and installed Conbee + JowiHue and things "no-good-no-mo".
Either I found several bugs or something in my config is causing improper comms -- thx for the help. btw, I changed the deConz startup to see if that made a difference, it didnt. Current command line switches to change ports (--auto-connect=1 --http-port=8080 --ws-port=20877)
Working:
1. Setting Hue, Sat, Dim levels 'manually' (not events) in the HS3 UI and also in Hue Essentials, changes the physical devices as expected.
2. Using JowiHue 'Scenes' works exactly as expected. (which makes the below more puzzling)
Not Working:
1. Both Group and Individual HS3 devices always show color as 00000 after the UI refreshes (see screenshot of Group)
2. Light levels (dim level) changes on its own after setting a new color; even when prior setting was 100% (254)
3. Saturation levels are never Shown correctly in HS3 devices. IF set outside of HS3. Typically show 255 or 0, no matter what level they really are.
4. Saturation levels are never displayed/communicated correctly to Phoscon; when 255 is set HS3 (the light does correctly go to 255), Phoscon shows Sat at mid-way point on the slider. The Sat is definitely at 255 - I can tell by the color and when manually changing the slider.
5. Phoscon never shows the changes made in HS3 devices. It usually stys the sme, or sometimes the slides display their "defaults" (see screenshots of Kitchen Colors & Master Colors devices)
6. Native HS3 Events ; Setting HUE does not work at all with individual or group JowiHue devices.
- Setting hue to ANY color, JowiHue sends Zero (0)... see log. (also note in log: setting On/Off and Dim Level work fine on their own)
- When setting the Hue with Dim & Sat it ALWAYS sets the color to Red (Hue 0, Sat 255, Dim 254 -- see log).
