Tried pairing again today and would not pair.
Do you think I should return it or keep it?

If it does not even pair in the interface of deCONZ, return it.
But if you see the device as a 0xNNNN device in the deCONZ window you can try getting attention on the github, followin htese guidelines: https://github.com/dresden-elektroni...Device-Support. But that is if you are ok with some waiting time...
The xiaomi weather sensors are doing good here and cheap?
