I have lots of these Xiaomi sensors. I am very satisfied with them

The Xiaomi and the NYCE both work great. Nobody is making the hidden "in the door" style in Zigbee that I'm aware of, but I wish they would. Those are my favorite style in Z-Wave.

I use the MCT 340-E sensors and Aqara sensors.

Aqara all the way - check gearbest often and bulk buy them when they are on sale. They last a long time on their button batteries, way longer than any zwave device can.
