Event is set for 100% brightness but lights only turn on to 39%

Just starting out with Jowihue and I am trying to setup an event to turn on my basement light group to Cold White 100% when we enter the room. However it is always setting the brightness to 39%. I can't figure out why as I have it set for 100 in the event. See below.

That was what I was referring to in the other thread. By default the JowiHue is a brightness range of 1-254. That would make 100 about 39%. In the config you can set it to use percentage instead, but events still use 1-254 with 254 being maximum brightness. 255 while labeled as On is really on last level.

It's on the config page where you change it to percentage.

So what is the point of this setting then if you still have to use the 1-254?

The point is for triggers/ conditions and legacy actions .. and manual control via web ui.

For the jowihue action ... maybe this is just easier to send to the deconz api like that via json, since the api expects values from 0 to 254

I think it is for HSTouch.

The percentage setting was created for users who use voice control in the past. Alexa and google seem to limit dim values to 100, so that is where I added the percentage setting.
But I never updated the plugin to use it for the JowiHue actions. Will add this on the todo list for the HS4 version of the plugin.

                Thanks,

                Wim
