Rename Log items in Homeseer 4 JowiHue

I have a lot of these log renamed items in Homeseer. Anyone an idea?

Albert,

This should not happen, I wonder why the plugin starts renaming devices when there is no change really. Could you send me a trace of this happening? I guess there is internally a wrong name set which the plugin is trying to correct. For a correct trace, follow these steps:

1. enable detailed trace and log to file options in the configuration page of the plugin
2. Stop and restart the plugin, so I can see the startup in the log
3. Let the plugin start and let it run until a few renames have been logged in the HS3 log
4. Disable the detailed trace and log to file options
5. You will find the log as \Logs\JowiHue.log in the install directory of HomeSeer, send this file to me?

Send the log to jowihue at ziggo dot nl

In my case, using 4.0.4.2, devices are not renamed after changing in HS.
The log says:

Feature Prise atelier (relai pour garage ). not renamed as it is plug device (rename the feature directly instead)

But device is not renamed in DeconZ GUI even after disconnect/reconnect, or plugin restart.

For everyday use, the plugin is working very well, congratulation to Jowi.

Plugs are a different issue. I am working on that one, but it is complex as there are now plugs that come as a multiple socket device and the HS4 plugin has no means yet to solve naming for this. I am still working on that. Did you try renaming the feature itself? Was the plug device not renamed in deCONZ after that? I thought I had prepared the plugin for that.

Will check, but it could be a while before this one is solved.

Yes I confirm I tried to rename the master, then the feature, in both order.
Deconz GUI is anyway not very usefull, as the plugin works great for the rest, thank you for that....
