    Zigbee plug with current sensing

    Hi... Has anyone had a good experience with a zigbee plug that has good current measuring capability that is exposed in the plug in? Ideally it would be compact, since I want to use it with a TV to see if the TV has been turned on. I know I can do this with a zwave plug, but zigbee seems to respond more quickly, and I'd like it to update quickly when the current changes.

      Her I am using EU versions obviously. They are doing quite well in response and accuracy

        Thanks folks for the quick response. Wim, that aqara plug looks like a wifi plug. I prefer not putting these cheap chinese devices on an IP network for security reasons - that's why I like zigbee. Are you using a version with zigbee or the wifi version?

        Glad to know the heiman has support in the plugin. I may get a couple to play with!

          Their argument is confusing, weak wifi signals do not bother the plug... LOL What is the zigbee signal is weak? Weird add here. (for Aqara Hub, read deCONZ gateway.

            The GE energy measuring Zigbee plug is sold by Jasco for $25.00 and will work well if your TV is less than 300 Watt.
