    RadioRA2 Essentials - Setup Question

So I have purchased the main repeater and 10 occupancy sensors (LRF2-OWLB-P-WH).

I've installed the essentials software, created my rooms, and added the sensors under each room.

I'm still waiting for the main repeater to arrive, but how do I physically sync the motion sensors up the main repeater? Does the software guide me through that?

Lastly, I only have occupancy sensors at this time. I will be using Homeseer to interface between RA2 and Caseta switches.

Yes, when the software is in activate mode, when you select a device to activate, it will tell you which button to press, tap, etc. to activate it.
I assume you did the training videos in order to gain access to the software. If not, I'd recommend it because in addition to showing how it works, it also has good recommendations for best practices.

Even with the training, I still made a few mistakes which were a bit challenging to troubleshoot. Mostly around timeclock modes. Since you aren't using the "smart" features if RR2, you probably won't have those sorts of problems.

One thing to note with the occupancy sensors is the timing - they will remain "violated" for the duration you select - you cannot set that using Homeseer. the defaults are 5, 10, and 15 min, but you can also select 1 min which may be a good idea if you use HS to add a delay. You can google something like "lutron 1 min occupancy sensor" to find a video showing how to select this shorter, slightly less standard delay. In general, you press and hold the "timeout" button until all 3 LEDs (5, 10, 15 min) are blinking, the press it again to set. If all 3 are lit, that means the 1 min timeout has been selected.

Yes I went through the training a year ago. So a lot of it I forget.

as for programming the delays, I’m aware and plan to program them all to one minute so HS can handle what happens.
