So, it turns out that I have to initially set the option to "Preset Mode' once that is active, I was able to change the colours!!! Man this has been kicking my *** for the longest time. I did make sure that the device type is set to BULB only as well. Thanks dude. Now I can finally finish up my HS Touch design project.

Also,on a side note: so anything that runs on the ESY controller I am able to use your plugin, correct?

i am using v8 devices, first thing i would suspect is that for bulbs you should not be using anything with Cool white, as usually the cool white is created from the RGB all on. so if have this set you have the wrong number of bytes in the request. these IMHO should be set to bulb, then stop and restart the plugin and wait for discovery. then try again

In the magichome settings what do you have the type set to? If you are unable to set colours this is because the bulb type needs to be set to one of the bulb values. Try choosing just bulb. And then try and select a colour. Does that work? If it does then try selecting the white value. If that doesn't work try selecting bulb and cool white and try again.

  • Illume Lights and MagicHome App work but Homeseer not changing colors

I bought a few Illume Lights that are driven by the MagicHome app. I downloaded the PI from fuzzy, but it seems that changing colours and using the HomeSeer mobile are not working yet. Has anyone ran into this issue? Also, it looks like the Firmware for these lights are V8. Not sure if this is supported yet. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks everyone
