Broadcast vs ip adresses

Is there i way to manually enter the IP of the unit that is going to be controlled ?

At the moment the app jams my nettwork every time it is doing the broadcast and that is very minute. So had to turn it off..

at this moment no, you say it jams the network. not seen this behaviour, it sends a single packe and then waits 10 seconds for responses.
