Very easy pairing the Xiaomi Temperature Sensor. Trying to use the conversion expression from mcsMQTT manual. No matter what I try it displays zero.

A transformation can be performed on a payload before it is stored into a HS Device. For textual transformation regular expressions can be used most easily. For numeric transformation then numeric expressions can be used. In this case it will be a numeric expression “$$PAYLOAD * 1.8 + 32” that is entered on the Expression row of the Edit tab."
I have tried “$$PAYLOAD * 1.8 + 32” and $$PAYLOAD * 1.8 + 32 I tried just $$PAYLOAD to see if it would display the original Centigrade value, still zero.
I am entering this on the edit tab in the field labeled "Expression"
What am i doing wrong?
