Hi there,
I noticed this morning that mcsMQTT (3.4.18.2) hadn't been sending any messages through my MQTT server, and when I took a look at the Statistics tab it said that it the connection was offline. It got me to thinking that maybe there should be a status device that could expose the current state of the MQTT connection. Doing so would allow me to add triggers based on the current connection status. In my case, today, there wasn't a clear reason -- I hadn't taken the server offline at all, and other things had no problem communicating with it. Stopping and starting mcsMQTT got things moving, again.
Thanks!
