MQtt Noob needs a little advice

I am dippin my toes into the mqtt stream mostly because I came across these on amazon. I ordered one to play with. I am hoping I can make them work to control lighting in my class A Rv. I could use some advice as to which software to flash these with, or if it is even possible to make these work? I have mqtt installed and the built in broker working...

Tasmota is my choice for this, and find Tazmotizer on github, totally painless flashing. https://github.com/tasmota/tasmotizer and more info here https://templates.blakadder.com/

I have not used the device you found but it should work if it has an ESP type device on it.

Take a look here. It provides flashing guidance using Tasmota.

+1 on Tasmota, simply ensure you check the compatibility database before ordering,

with over 1200 confirmed devices you should find what you need. Sonoff is typically supported so you should see your device there + one amazon user seems to confirm:

Just an FYI purchased first generation of these originally for my under the kitchen cabinets LED endeavor. Worked great for a couple of weeks then the board died. I was outside of the return window for Amazon.

Very easy to upgrade the firmware. I currently use Tasmota and Espurna and been adding more Espurna WiFi devices lately.
