Column D & I not showing - can't log History?

I read the docs, and in the PI's GUI it says "Save history of only devices marked with D or I column checkbox" but these are not available in my UI (screenshot attached).

Only rows with HS device/features will provide a text box. If the topic is "A"ssociated then a HS Ref number and the checkboxes will be available.

The topic/payload can be saved with unassociated messages. This is primarily used as a log and not as a repository for charting as the data is stored in raw string format while data from devices/features is stored in numeric format.

I'm having issues with messages coming from MediaRoom so want to log and review -- dont need charts

This is the H checkbox and assure the number of days of history setting is greater than zero.
