Hello. You had sent me a PM over a month ago and I was still trying to figure out how to configure i-link with big5. I believe I am ready to give up. I looked at some of the threads and it appears I need to run homeseer on a raspberry pi computer? Is there a version of the setup that runs on windows?

Or does this plugin simply install on HS4? Will it communicate over a serial line (or converter) with Pentair?

mcsMQTT provides the HomeSeer component of the poolController integration. mcsMQTT has both HS3 and HS4 versions.

The specifics of how to setup and use poolController is best answered by @Miamijerry who did all the work for this integration on the equipment. I know he offered a RPi image with all the poolController dependencies satisfied.

poolController is a nodejs application so conceptually it should be able to run on Windows, but the development work was done on RPi.

The physical interface between HS and Pentair is a RS-485 serial connection.
