i am not familiar with RS485 programming, and i have a dimmable transformer that has 3 lines in for RS485 control. i prefer to use a ZeeS2 but can use windows 10 HomeTroller if needed. i have a USB-to-RS485 adapter. can anyone advise how i can have Homeseer send the following RS485 command to the transformer, which steps down the voltage from 110 volts to 45 volts: thanks in advance, Chris

Hi Matt. I need to set up a Linux box and do some testing to check this.

Yup, as long as it creates a cOM port you're good. Then you just need to convert to RS485 signalling. I have seen some RS485 to USB adapters out there but can't recall where, eBay perhaps. There are some Ethernet to RS485 devices on the market too.

I lied, I'm using a USB/RS232 adapter, and then an RS232 to RS485 converter on the end of it.
