Plug-in documentation

The UI refers to documentation. Is there any? How do I define the coils and registers on my device? Being absolutely new to HS, this is not at all obvious.

OK, figured that out, but general documentation would be nice.

Also, what is "Code" on the Configuration tab. I see no documentation on it, and nothing corresponds to this in modbus that I know of, at least for the driver I previously wrote for a dehumidifier.
