You are indeed correct. For some reason the .exe. is not copied to the HS3 directory. If you look in your HS3 directory in a subdirectory called Updates3 you should find HSPI_TasMQTT.exe which you can just copy into your HS3 directory and that'll fix it. I'll look at the problem now and sort the updater.Leave a comment:

Unable to install updates?
plugin page shows version (1.0.9.8) is available but I'm unable to update to it.
I disable the plugin ran the update, shows successful but it doesn't update.
