    Does "Energy" view do anything?

Does the "Energy View" do anything in an X10 only system? I'm referring to "Energy" under VIEW dropdown on the Device Management (home) page. When setting up my X10 devices, I see no way to assign wattages to the devices so what does the Energy View do? Is this something that only works for Z-Wave devices?
    Thanks

I am not aware of any X10 devices that report the power consumption of the connected load, so I am assuming this is only for newer technologies such as Z-wave (and ZigBee?).
    Best regards,

For Z-Wave devices that report energy metrics it works. I don't know about how well it works for Insteon devices. I'm not aware of any X10 classic that report energy.

Old topic. But if one cold assign a wattage (the load) to each X10 device then energy use could be calculated. I will suggest to rjh.
